What is “Ladder League”?
- Ladder League is an event held for 4 consecutive official club practices in which participants can sign up to compete in events (MS, WS, MD, WD, XD) against other club members to place as high as possible on the event ‘ladder’. The ladder is a ranking of players/teams based on wins and losses. Each event lists participants in order, and the objective is to get to the top of the ranking.
- Initial ranking is based on order of registration, and participants advance on the ladder by challenging (up to 5 rankings above their own). Detailed rules are listed below. There are no eliminations, no tryouts, and no skill/experience requirement. Participants can challenge others an unlimited amount of times (time permitting).

RULES
- A no-show for a league day* is a loss
- Players/teams are only allowed to challenge up to 5 ranks above current position
- Challenges can only be made during the current league day*
- If the challenging party wins, they replace the challenged party’s ranking, & all other teams are shifted down one ranking
- If the challenged party wins their ranking remains the same & the challenging party drops down one ranking
HOW TO CHALLENGE
- The challenge sign-up sheet will be manned & organized by an officer during official league days* (first come, first serve) in the form of a document hyperlinked to the Ladder League page situated under the ‘Ladders’ Excel sheet.
- To challenge another team/player, let the officer on duty know and they will type your name on the challenge list.
*League days:Fri 6PM-10PM & Sun 8AM-12PM. Please note that on Sundays, League days are a two hour extension of our official practice time (10AM-12PM).
